A mother-daughter team delivering care, kindness, and groceries

Local, reliable, and dedicated to helping our community

Locally owned. Family operated. Personally invested in every order.

About Us

We’re not a big app. We’re a locally owned and operated family business based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Founded by Stacey (mom) and Caylee (daughter), St. Pete Shopping Company was created to make life easier for busy locals, seasonal snowbirds, vacationing families, and anyone who could use a helping hand.

We offer personalized grocery shopping, restaurant meal delivery, and everyday errand services with real-time communication, flexible scheduling, and friendly service that fits your lifestyle.

Prefer to text your list? Need to talk through a complex order by phone? No problem. We’re always just a message away. For tourists, we offer pre-arrival delivery and unpacking services so you can walk into a fully stocked fridge and jump straight into vacation mode.

We shop the way we would for our own family: carefully, efficiently, and with no surprises. You’ll always know who is handling your order, and you can contact us by phone or text at any time.

As a proud local business, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We regularly contribute to organizations like Suncoast Voices for Children, Alpha House of Pinellas County, and Hank’s Bark Box because supporting local means investing in the people and causes that make St. Pete stronger.

Born from from Pandemic Gig Work, Built for Clients Who Expect More

Our Shopping Journey

St. Pete Shopping Company was founded by longtime St. Petersburg residents Stacey and Caylee Ward, a mother and daughter whose business began taking shape during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

What started as temporary gig work as essential workers for national delivery apps quickly revealed a need for something better.

Together, they have completed over 12,000 orders on the national shopping & delivery apps and have experienced firsthand what clients truly wanted: clear communication, personal attention, reliable service, and someone who cared enough to get every detail right.

While the world was still adjusting to social distancing and singing happy birthday while washing hands, Stacey and Caylee were already looking ahead. With two years of planning, they learned what truly mattered: trust, consistency, and the power of personalized, reliable service. They listened closely, refined every detail, and built relationships with staff, store managers, and trusted vendors.

Today, St. Pete Shopping Company serves clients who expect more—from luxury vacationers and busy professionals to retirees, college students, and families across the St. Petersburg community.

Shaped by over 100 years of family-run businesses

Built on Generations of Hard Work

St. Pete Shopping Company is the first time Stacey and Caylee have officially teamed up to run their own mother-daughter business, but entrepreneurship is in their DNA. For three generations, the women in their family have grown up in small businesses, learning the value of hard work, customer service, and community from an early age.

It started with Marcia, Stacey’s mother and Caylee’s grandmother, who grew up surrounded by her own grandparents’ wholesale auto parts business. She learned what it meant to keep customers happy and help a family business thrive. Years later, she passed that same work ethic down to Stacey.

Stacey was raised watching Marcia help run her father’s printing company, and by her teens, she was spending weekends and summers working in Marcia’s various ventures. When Caylee came along, the tradition continued.

As a toddler, Caylee joined Stacey and Marcia at antique shows and auctions, balancing a Leapster in one hand and a vintage postcard in the other. By elementary school, she was scanning inventory, exploring Excel and PowerPoint, and teaching herself to use business software just by watching her mom work.

On Take Your Child to Work Day, Caylee didn’t just tag along, she gave PowerPoint presentations to her classmates about their family’s business. In middle and high school, she was attending networking events, client meetings, and nonprofit fundraisers, soaking up everything from database design, grassroots marketing, and community volunteering.

Long before St. Pete Shopping Company launched, Caylee already knew what it takes to run a business with heart. Service, hustle, and family—that’s the legacy she and Stacey continue today.

Founded in St. Pete. Powered by Family. Trusted for Excellence.

Meet Our CoFounders

Stacey Ward

Co-Founder

Stacey started personal shopping part-time in March 2020 and quickly found her stride. By the end of the year, she had transitioned into working full-time as a gig worker for the national shopping apps, forging strong relationships with store employees and managers along the way. Those connections often help her track down elusive or high-demand items for clients.

Never one to miss a hidden gem, Stacey also created Spotted on the Shelf, a Facebook page where she shares fun and unexpected finds from her daily shopping routes. It’s part product spotlight, part snack-fueled treasure hunt because you never know what you’ll discover on aisle five.

Caylee Ward

Co-Founder & Full Time College Student

Caylee started full-time as a personal shopper in January 2020. At the height of the pandemic, when shelves were empty and toilet paper was gold, she was logging 40-plus hours a week shopping while also attending virtual college classes.

These days, she shops part-time while working at a local construction and engineering firm and pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Engineering. As a full-time college student, she brings a fresh perspective, youthful energy, and a modern approach to everything she does. Her enthusiasm, sharp eye, and determination are key to the company’s dynamic and forward-thinking culture, not to mention her uncanny ability to find the exact brand you forgot to mention.
