St. Pete Shopping Company is a locally owned, mother-and-daughter grocery concierge and delivery service in St. Petersburg, Florida, serving both locals and visitors across St. Petersburg and the nearby beaches since 2022.
We shop the way you would shop for your own family. Stacey and Caylee know these stores by heart, which one has the best produce that morning, which deli slices it the way you like it, and where to find your brand when the shelf is empty.
You are not sending a list into an app. You are handing it to a neighbor who lives here, shops here, and will text you a photo before swapping anything out.

How We Help
St. Pete Shopping Company is a female-owned, women-run business built by a mother-daughter team, Stacey and Caylee Ward. Since 2022 we have personally shopped and delivered for locals and tourists across St. Petersburg and the nearby beach communities, completing thousands of orders along the way.
Groceries are only part of it. We handle restaurant and catering pickup, pharmacy runs, package returns, and the everyday errands that fill up a week. For locals we keep the routine running. For visitors we stock the kitchen before you walk through the door. We deliver seven days a week, more than 360 days a year.
There is no call center between you and us. When you text or call, you reach Stacey or Caylee directly, and the same two people handle your order from the first message to the last bag on the counter. If something is out of stock or does not look right, you get a photo and a question, not a substitution you did not ask for.
You will also get a personal text from Stacey herself when you download our shopping app. That is why preferences get remembered, why we know which brand you meant, and why clients stay with us for years. Our mission is simple: to make our clients' lives easier.
From 2020 to 2022
How It Started
St. Pete Shopping Company began during the COVID pandemic, when Stacey and Caylee were working as essential gig shoppers on the national delivery apps. While most people stayed home, they were in local stores every day, navigating supply shortages and constantly changing needs. They saw firsthand where the big platforms fell short: unclear communication, inconsistent shoppers, and no real care for the person on the other end of the order.
One day, after yet another order the apps had made harder than it needed to be, Caylee turned to her mother and said, "Mom, we can do it better." She was right. In July 2022 they launched St. Pete Shopping Company, a locally owned service built on everything the apps were missing: thoughtful shopping, clear communication, and dependable follow-through from two people clients know by name.
What began as a way to help neighbors has grown into a trusted concierge service. Clients know exactly who is shopping for them, who is communicating with them, and who is showing up at their door. That familiarity means preferences are remembered, needs are anticipated, and every order is handled with care from start to finish.

Meet the Founders
Stacey Ward
Stacey began personal shopping in March 2020, after spending ten years running a local marketing business. She handles most orders and is the primary point of contact for most clients.
Beyond the business, she cultivates relationships with other local business owners and nonprofits, and coordinates deliveries when local businesses have surplus inventory to donate to Hanks Bark Box or Suncoast Voices for Children.
Caylee Ward
Caylee is a USF engineering student and works at a local construction and engineering company. She brings technical expertise to the business, managing app updates, coordinating behind-the-scenes logistics, and making sure systems run smoothly.
Beyond her work here, Caylee gives back to her community as treasurer of the IEEE USF chapter, continuing the family tradition of service and leadership.

A legacy of family run businesses
Chris & Velma
Stacey's great-grandparents owned a large automotive supply company, where Stacey's grandparents Curt and Anna met and both worked. Marcia, Stacey's mom, worked at her grandparents' store as a teenager.

When Chris & Velma retired and became snowbirds, Curt & Anna started their own family business, a printing and marketing company working with local businesses. Marcia worked at her parents' business, bringing Stacey along to hang out at the office during elementary and middle school.

In high school, Marcia started her own business designing dried floral arrangements that she sold at local craft fairs. Stacey had her own small business making and selling hair scrunchies alongside Marcia's floral arrangements. After Caylee was born, Stacey and Marcia, now residents of Florida, opened an antiques business specializing in Little Golden Books and vintage postcards. Caylee attended trade shows and auctions from preschool on.

Stacey started and ran a marketing business while caring for Marcia after a cancer diagnosis. Caylee spent middle and high school attending networking events and volunteering alongside her mother.

During the COVID pandemic, working as essential gig workers on national delivery apps, Stacey and Caylee saw a need for more personalized service. They launched St. Pete Shopping Company in 2022, built on the family values of care, communication, and reliability.
