Meet Stacey and Caylee Ward
Co-founders and local owners
Mother-daughter team Stacey and Caylee Ward founded St. Pete Shopping Company with the belief that personal service still matters, especially in a world dominated by automated apps and anonymous shoppers. What began as a way to help neighbors has grown into a trusted local concierge service built on clear communication, thoughtful shopping, and consistent follow-through.
Every order is handled with care from start to finish. Clients know exactly who is shopping for them, who is communicating with them, and who is showing up at their door. That familiarity allows preferences to be remembered, needs to be anticipated, and service to feel personal, dependable, and genuinely supportive.
As local small business owners, Stacey and Caylee believe there is a responsibility to support the community that supports them. Giving back through local organizations and nonprofit partners is part of how they help make the community a better place and reflects the values that guide how they run their business.
Stacey Ward
Cofounder
Stacey Ward co-founded St. Pete Shopping Company in July 2022, building on hands-on experience she and Caylee gained providing personal shopping and delivery services during the COVID-19 pandemic beginning in 2020. While working through national delivery platforms, Stacey saw firsthand how one-size-fits-all services often fell short for clients who needed clear communication, consistency, and extra care.
That experience shaped the foundation of St. Pete Shopping Company. Stacey now oversees daily operations and long-term client relationships, managing complex requests and ensuring each order is handled thoughtfully from start to finish. Many clients rely on her ongoing support, trusting her to understand preferences, anticipate needs, and deliver dependable, personalized service.
Caylee Ward
Cofounder & Full Time College Student
Caylee Ward co-founded St. Pete Shopping Company in July 2022 after beginning her work as a personal shopper in January 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. When college classes shifted to virtual learning, Caylee returned to St. Petersburg and began shopping full time during the early lockdown period, supporting people who needed reliable, consistent help during an uncertain time.
That experience gave Caylee firsthand insight into how students, families, and individuals without reliable transportation relied on personalized support beyond what national platforms could provide. Today, she plays an active role in coordination, organization, and communication, helping ensure each order runs smoothly and expectations are clearly met. Working closely with Stacey, she helps uphold the responsiveness and personal service that define the business.
Our Shopping Journey
Hands-on experience since 2020
St. Pete Shopping Company grew out of real, hands-on grocery shopping and delivery work that began in 2020. During the COVID pandemic, while many people were working from home, Stacey and Caylee were out shopping in local stores, navigating supply shortages, safety protocols, and constantly changing needs.
That experience provided a clear understanding of what worked and what did not. Shopping during that time revealed gaps in communication, consistency, and care that national platforms were not designed to address. Those lessons ultimately led to the launch of St. Pete Shopping Company in July 2022, built as a locally owned service focused on thoughtful shopping, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.
Built on Generations of Hard Work
Family business experience passed down and put to work
St. Pete Shopping Company did not begin in a vacuum. For Stacey and Caylee, building a business was shaped by years of exposure to family-run operations, strong work ethic, and the understanding that trust is earned through consistency and follow-through.
Stacey grew up watching her mother run a small business, learning early what it takes to show up every day, manage relationships, and take responsibility for both the work and the people involved. Caylee was raised in that same environment, spending weekends and summers around family businesses where effort, accountability, and pride in service were non-negotiable.
That foundation carried forward as both women gained experience balancing work, school, and responsibility long before launching their own company. Building St. Pete Shopping Company was a natural extension of those lessons, combining modern needs with values rooted in family entrepreneurship.
Today, Stacey and Caylee continue that tradition together, applying decades of collective family business experience to a locally owned company built on reliability, care, and long-term relationships. It is that foundation that guides how they operate, how they serve, and how they show up for the community every day.
