Whether you’re a local resident or visiting our beautiful area, our goal is to make your shopping and errand experiences as seamless and convenient as possible. Below, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive.

Pricing & Payment
Does St. Pete Shopping Company charge an annual fee?
St. Pete Shopping Company does NOT charge an annual or monthly membership fee for our services.
What are the fees for the services that St. Pete Shopping Company provides?
Personal Shopping Services = 20% of checkout total, with a minimum charge of $15.
Restaurant Delivery Services = 20% of checkout total, with a minimum charge of $15.
General Errand Services = $15 per 15 minutes of time.
What is the price for items purchased at the store?
Our customers pay in-store prices for all items purchased. Our clients get all BOGO deals and the store’s sale pricing.
Our customers always receive a copy of the store receipt upon delivery.
Tips
Tips are always appreciated.
100% of tips go directly to your personal shopper.
How & when do I pay?
Orders Placed with the Dumpling App
For Dumpling App orders, a $20 hold will be placed on your debit/credit card when placing your order. When shopping is complete, your card will be charged the checkout total, plus our shopping fee, and tip if you preselected a tip percentage.
All Other Orders
For all other orders, you will be sent an invoice when shopping is complete. The invoice will include the checkout total, plus our shopping fee. You will have the option to add a tip.
All orders must be paid before the shopper leaves the store. Orders will not be delivered unless payment has been received.
How is my payment information protected?
St. Petersburg Shopping Compay does not haveÂ
Orders Placed with the Dumpling App
When you place an order with the Dumpling App, you enter your payment information directly into the app. Dunpling securely stores this information and processes it via Stripe. This means that neither your Personal Shopper nor the Dumpling team have access to your card information.
All Other Orders
For all other orders, you will be sent a Square invoice when your personal shopper is at checkout. Payment information will be securely stored and processed via Square, meaning that your personal shopper will not have access to your card information.
Placing An Order
How Do I Place An Order?
We offer two methods for placing orders:
- Online Ordering with the Dumpling App
- Send Us A List via email, text, or phone. You can share a list from Alexa, Google, or any list-making app such as AnyList. We can even pick up a handwritten list if that is easiest for you.
Do I Need A Smart Phone to Order?
No, you do not need a smartphone to order. We can accept orders via email or phone. We can even pick up a handwritten list if that is easiest for you. Contact us for more information.
Do I Have to Use the Dumpling App to Order?
No, you do not need to use the Dumpling App to place an order.

I'm Visiting From Out of Town - What Happens if My Flight is Delayed?
If you are arriving from out of town, please be sure to contact us when you place your order to let us know.
We will reach out to you the day before your arrival and will coordinate with you on the day of arrival. If arrival is delayed, we can adjust the delivery time accordingly.

You can download our shopping app here.
Why can't I find your app in the App Store?
St. Pete Shopping Company is powered by Dumpling, which means that our app is called Dumpling Grocery.
Once you download the Dumpling Grocery app, you can find St. Pete Shopping Company by entering your south Pinellas County zip code.

Non-App Orders
How can I place an order without using an app?
For those clients who do not like using apps, or who prefer a more personalized ordering method, we accept orders via phone, text, or email.
We can even pick up a handwritten grocery list to use while shopping at the store!

Can I order online without downloading an app?
Yes – our Shopping App offers the ability to order from your web browser.

Shopping Services
What stores do you shop at?
St. Pete Shopping Company is able to shop at just about all local stores for our clients.
We are able to shop at the big-box stores, and we are also able to shop at small stores including your favorite neighborhood butchers, seafood markets, florists, and pet supply stores.
Can you shop at multiple stores?
Yes, we can shop at multiple stores for our clients. This means that we have the abilityshop at the big-box grocery store, the butcher, and local bakery to find all specific items on our client’s shopping list.
Additional fees may apply when adding additional stores to an order.
Do you shop at stores in Hillsborough or Manatee County?
Yes, we do have the ability to shop for our clients at stores outside Pinellas County.Â
Currently, we shop at Jamison B Dough Joe Bakery in Tampa and at Detwiler’s Farm Market in Palmetto.
Items We Do NOT Deliver
We do not deliver the following items:
- Alcohol products
- Tobacco products
- Items weighing more than 50lbs (individual items weighing more than 20 lbs each may be charged an additional fee per item)
Errand Running Services
Do you deliver prescriptions from pharmacies?
Yes, we can deliver prescriptions all local pharmacies and veterinarian offices.
Do you deliver from Veterinary offices?
Yes, we can deliver food and prescriptions from all local veterinarian offices.
Can you help with package returns?
We can pick up your Amazon returns (or other online retailers) and drop them off at the post office or UPS Store.
What other errands can you help with?
St. Pete Shopping Company offers a wide range of other general errand services, including dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up, post office runs, gift deliveries, and other tasks.
What is the fee for Errand Running Services?
Our fees for Running Errands start at $15 per 15 minutes or $60 per hour, and reimbursement of related expenses, plus tip.
Catering & Meal Delivery
What restaurants do you deliver from?
St. Pete Shopping Company can deliver catering and meals from all local restaurants.
Tell me about your Catering Coordination for Small Events!
Our Catering Coordination for Small Event Services allows our client to focus on the event while we take care of the food. We can even provide “Food Hostesses” at your eve
Do you deliver pre-cooked holiday meals?
Yes, we can pick up your catering platters and holiday meals.
We also offer limited delivery of fully cooked hot restaurant meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Easter.
What is the fee for Catering & Meal Delivery Services?
The fee for catering and restaurant meal delivery is 20% of the checkout total, with a minimum fee of $15, plus a tip.
Delivery
What Is Your Delivery Area?
Our primary delivery area includes south Pinellas County, including St. Petersburg, Tierra Verde, Pass-a-Grille, St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Town Shores, Treasure Island, and Madeira Beach.
Delivery is also available to other areas for an additional fee including Redington Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Tampa, Clearwater, Dunedin, and Clearwater Beach.

What Are Your Delivery Days & Hours?
We are available to shop for you 7 days a week
Regular delivery hours are 10 AM – 8 PM.
Do You Offer Same Day Delivery?
There is limited availability for same-day delivery. If ordering via the Dumpling App, our availability is updated in real-time. If not ordering via the Dumpling App, please contact us to check same-day delivery availability.
Do I Need To Be Home For Delivery?
We do generally require someone to be present for your first delivery.
For subsequent orders, we offer contactless delivery to your front door.
Do You Offer Contact-less Delivery?
Yes, we do provide contact-less delivery.
We will leave your items at your front door or other location as specified by you.Â
Do You Deliver to Multi-Story Buildings (Apartments, Condo's, Dorms, Etc)?
Yes, we deliver to multi-story buildings.
If there is not an elevator and delivery is made above the 2nd floor, there may be an additional surcharge depending on the order size and weight of the order.
Please contact us for more information if you live in a multi-story building without an elevator.
Can You Deliver the Groceries Inside?
Yes, we can carry the groceries inside.
Please let us know in advance if you need inside delivery and if you need help putting the groceries away.
Can you help unpack the groceries?
Yes, we can help unpack the groceries, and and even put the cold stuff in the fridge and freezer!

Do You Deliver to Tourists?
Yes, we deliver to tourists staying at local hotels, condos, and other rental properties.
We have created a special Tourist Shopping List for these shopping trips. Contact us for more information.Â
Satisfaction Guarentee
Our Satisfaction Guarentee
In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with the service that we have provided and/or items that we delivered, we will do what it takes to make things right, include a refund and/or replacement of items.

Refunds will only be given for items that are in their original non-opened packaging.
